Cancellation Policy

Overview

We understand that circumstances change. This cancellation policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling tutoring sessions and subscriptions with our platform.

Session Cancellations

Students and parents may cancel scheduled tutoring sessions with at least 24 hours notice without penalty. A cancellation made within 24 hours of the scheduled session means the hour is used; there is no extra charge.

To cancel a session, sign in to your account and open the Sessions tab. Find the session you wish to cancel, press "Cancel", then "Cancel class". You will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.

If you need to reschedule a session instead of canceling, you may do so up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no additional cost, subject to tutor availability.

Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your parent dashboard or by contacting us at info@educatutoring.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle; you keep full access to your plan until that date, after which your subscription ends and you will not be charged again.

To cancel your subscription, sign in to your account, open the Billing tab and press "Don’t renew" under your child’s plan. You will be asked to confirm, and you may tell us why you are stopping if you wish.

Refund Policy

We do not provide refunds of any kind, including partial or pro-rated refunds, for unused sessions, partial billing periods, or time remaining after you cancel.

• Drop-in sessions are non-refundable once booked.
• The complimentary first session has no cash value.

Tutor Cancellations

If a tutor cancels a scheduled session, you will be notified immediately and offered the option to reschedule or to have the hour added to your family hours bank for future sessions.
