Subject

Geography tutoring in Montreal.

Geography blends map skills, physical systems and how people live on the land. We help students read and interpret maps, understand territories and issues, and answer the applied questions the program is built around.

Map skills first

Reading a map, a legend and a scale is a skill. We build it directly, because everything else leans on it.

Territories and issues

The program is organized around real places and real questions. We work through them so your child can reason, not just recall.

Applied answers

Evaluations ask students to apply what they know to a document or a case. We practice exactly that.

Levels we cover

Elementary geography through Secondary 3 Geography.

What a session looks like

A one-hour semi-private session, grouped by grade and level, with the tutor working the current topic, setting practice, and checking each student one on one. Homework and upcoming tests come first whenever that is what your child needs that day.

Common questions
Elementary through Secondary 3, where geography sits in the Quebec program.
Yes. They overlap and we can cover both in a session if that is what your child needs.
No. Most of it is reading documents and reasoning. That is what we practice.
